Last Updated: August 20, 2026
Overview
This website is operated by Asc3nsion LLC, doing business as Overland Wanderers (“Overland Wanderers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Throughout the Site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Overland Wanderers. Overland Wanderers offers this website, including all information, products, tools, and services available through the Site, conditioned upon your acceptance of these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
By visiting our Site, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Site or our services.
Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to offer products and services to you.
Section 1 – Online Store Terms
By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence, or that you have provided consent for any minor dependents under your supervision to use this Site.
You may not use our Site, services, or products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
You must not transmit viruses, malware, worms, destructive code, or other harmful material.
A violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to our services.
Section 2 – General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service, restrict access, or cancel orders when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, unauthorized resale, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, exploit, or commercially use any portion of the Site or Service without our prior written permission, except as permitted by applicable law.
Your use of the Site is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Section 3 – Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, and compatibility information.
However, manufacturers may change product designs, specifications, packaging, components, colors, or other characteristics without notice.
Product images may be representative, and actual products may vary slightly from images displayed on the Site.
We do not warrant that every product description, specification, image, price, or other piece of information will always be complete, current, or error-free.
If we discover a material error affecting an order, we may contact you before fulfillment to provide available options.
Section 4 – Vehicle Fitment & Compatibility
Many products sold by Overland Wanderers are designed for specific vehicles, model years, trims, configurations, bed lengths, roof types, factory options, or aftermarket modifications.
Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable product fitment information before purchasing.
Vehicle modifications or previously installed aftermarket equipment may affect compatibility even when a product is otherwise listed as compatible with a particular vehicle.
If you are uncertain about fitment, we strongly encourage you to contact us before ordering with your vehicle's year, make, model, trim, and relevant modifications.
We may assist customers with fitment based on information provided by manufacturers, distributors, and other product documentation. Such assistance does not replace manufacturer instructions, professional inspection, or professional installation when appropriate.
Section 5 – Installation & Product Use
Certain products sold through Overland Wanderers may require professional installation, specialized tools, mechanical knowledge, electrical knowledge, vehicle modification, or other technical expertise.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are installed and used safely and in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions.
Improper installation, modification, misuse, overloading, or use contrary to manufacturer instructions may result in product failure, vehicle damage, personal injury, or other hazards.
Where professional installation is recommended by the manufacturer, customers should use a qualified installer.
Some products may be intended primarily for off-road, recreational, or competition use and may not be legal for use on public roads in every jurisdiction.
Customers are responsible for determining whether installation and use of a product complies with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Section 6 – Pricing & Availability
Prices, promotions, product availability, and specifications are subject to change without notice.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate pricing but reserve the right to correct typographical, technical, pricing, or other errors.
If a product is listed at an incorrect price or contains materially incorrect information, we may cancel the affected order and issue a refund or contact you with available options, as permitted by applicable law.
Placing an item in your cart does not reserve inventory or guarantee availability.
Section 7 – Orders & Order Acceptance
Submitting an order through our Site constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
Receipt of an automated order confirmation does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.
Orders may be subject to payment verification, fraud screening, product availability, supplier confirmation, shipping restrictions, and other fulfillment requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including due to:
-
Product unavailability
-
Pricing or listing errors
-
Suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions
-
Shipping restrictions
-
Supplier or manufacturer restrictions
-
Violations of these Terms
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method.
Section 8 – Payment & Billing Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, payment, and contact information for all purchases.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
We may request additional verification before processing certain transactions.
Orders suspected of fraud or unauthorized payment activity may be delayed or canceled.
Section 9 – Shipping & Delivery
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors that may include the product, weight, dimensions, destination, shipping method, and fulfillment location.
Applicable shipping charges will be presented during checkout or otherwise communicated before the order is finalized when possible.
Delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Delivery times may be affected by:
-
Product availability
-
Warehouse location
-
Manufacturer or distributor processing
-
Carrier delays
-
Weather
-
Freight scheduling
-
Holidays
-
Events outside our reasonable control
Products within the same order may ship separately from different warehouses or suppliers.
For additional information, please review our Shipping Policy.
Section 10 – Freight & Oversized Deliveries
Large or heavy products—including certain rooftop tents, bumpers, roof racks, storage systems, and other oversized equipment—may ship via freight carrier.
Freight deliveries may require an appointment, and curbside delivery may be standard unless otherwise specified.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information and for being available when required by the freight carrier.
Customers should inspect freight shipments for visible damage before accepting delivery whenever reasonably possible.
If damage is visible:
-
Photograph the packaging and product
-
Note visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing
-
Retain all packaging and shipping materials
-
Contact Overland Wanderers promptly
Damage claims should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.
Additional requirements may be described in our Shipping Policy or Return & Refund Policy.
Section 11 – Returns & Refunds
Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Most eligible products may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the requirements and exclusions stated in that policy.
Certain products may be subject to return restrictions or restocking fees imposed by manufacturers or distributors.
Customers are generally responsible for return shipping unless otherwise provided in our Return & Refund Policy.
Please review the Return & Refund Policy before purchasing, particularly when ordering oversized, freight, special-order, or vehicle-specific products.
Section 12 – Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to cancel an order before it enters fulfillment; however, cancellation is not guaranteed once an order has been processed, submitted for fulfillment, prepared for shipment, or shipped.
Orders that can no longer be canceled may be subject to our standard Return & Refund Policy.
Special-order, custom, or made-to-order products may not be eligible for cancellation once processing has begun.
Section 13 – Manufacturer Warranties
Many products sold by Overland Wanderers may include a warranty provided by the product's manufacturer.
Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, procedures, and remedies vary by manufacturer and product.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and not independently by Overland Wanderers.
We may assist customers in locating applicable warranty information or contacting the appropriate manufacturer, but warranty claims may ultimately be subject to the manufacturer's terms, eligibility requirements, and approval.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Section 14 – Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Customers should inspect orders promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us promptly with your order number and supporting photographs.
Damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery whenever possible to help preserve applicable shipping or carrier claims.
Keep the product, packaging, shipping label, pallet, and other shipping materials until the issue has been resolved.
We will work with the customer and, where applicable, the manufacturer, distributor, or carrier to determine the appropriate resolution.
Section 15 – Third-Party Suppliers & Fulfillment
Overland Wanderers works with manufacturers, authorized distributors, suppliers, warehouses, and shipping carriers to offer and fulfill products.
As a result, products may ship directly from a manufacturer, distributor, supplier, or third-party warehouse rather than from an Overland Wanderers facility.
Inventory information may change between the time an order is placed and fulfillment is confirmed.
If an unexpected availability issue prevents us from fulfilling an order, we will contact you regarding the available options, which may include waiting for restock, selecting an alternative product, or receiving a refund for the unavailable item.
Section 16 – Optional Tools & Third-Party Services
We may provide access to third-party tools or services that we do not monitor or control.
Such tools and services may be provided “as is” and “as available.”
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
Section 17 – Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, policies, security, products, or services of third-party websites.
You should review the applicable third party's policies before providing information or completing a transaction.
Section 18 – User Comments, Reviews & Feedback
If you submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other content to us, you represent that you have the right to provide that content and that it does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
You may not submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, misleading, infringing, or malicious content.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
Section 19 – Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its original content, branding, layout, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Overland Wanderers and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, product images, logos, and other brand materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Nothing on the Site grants you ownership of any trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property right.
Section 20 – Personal Information
Our collection, use, and handling of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable law.
Section 21 – Errors, Inaccuracies & Omissions
Occasionally, information on the Site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, availability, specifications, or other information.
We reserve the right to correct such information and, where permitted by law, modify or cancel affected orders when necessary.
Section 22 – Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Site or its content to:
-
Violate applicable laws or regulations
-
Infringe intellectual property rights
-
Submit false or misleading information
-
Transmit malicious code
-
Attempt unauthorized access to the Site or related systems
-
Collect or track personal information of others unlawfully
-
Engage in fraudulent transactions or payment activity
-
Interfere with the security or operation of the Site
-
Use automated systems to scrape or exploit the Site where prohibited by law
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for violations of this section.
Section 23 – Disclaimer of Warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law, the Site and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Site will always be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.
Except for warranties that cannot legally be excluded and any applicable manufacturer warranties, we disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this section is intended to eliminate rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Section 24 – Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Asc3nsion LLC, doing business as Overland Wanderers, and its owners, employees, affiliates, agents, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Product installation, modification, and use should always comply with manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.
Section 25 – Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Asc3nsion LLC, doing business as Overland Wanderers, and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims arising from your violation of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or infringement of another party's rights.
Section 26 – Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Section 27 – Waiver
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Section 28 – Termination
These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us.
You may stop using our services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or services if you materially violate these Terms or where otherwise permitted by law.
Any obligations or liabilities incurred before termination will survive termination where applicable.
Section 29 – Entire Agreement
These Terms and the policies incorporated into them constitute the agreement between you and Overland Wanderers regarding your use of the Site and services and supersede prior communications concerning the same subject matter.
Section 30 – Governing Law
These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide services will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of protections that cannot legally be waived.
Section 31 – Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Changes will be posted on this page along with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
